Behind The Project

Making The Trolley Bag

For our second LIDL collaboration, we were tasked with creating a handbag that embodied the theme of 'freshness' and ease when shopping for fresh produce. After many rounds of design, we modernized the classic stainless steel shopping trolley (cart) and shaped it into a sleek, baguette-style handbag.

All of the produce featured in our photo campaign is 100% real. We had about 80lbs of fruit and vegetables in the studio, sitting pretty in LIDL crates and hanging from our ceiling rig. All produce was donated to City Harvest after the shoot.
